The team behind The Green Way Outdoors History Channel series drops another “behind the scenes” VLOG from one of their filming trips. This one, is Part 2 of their Scotland adventure. Scotland is one of those places where history, adventure, and chaos all show up at the same time and somehow nobody warns you. In this travel vlog, we roam Scotland from the ancient Clava Cairns to the Culloden Battlefield, then head into Inverness before pushing deep into the Scottish Highlands for red stag hunting. Somewhere in the middle of all that history and beauty, the trailer we were towing decided it had other plans and flipped, turning this trip into a master class in improvising and laughing through bad ideas.
We walk through centuries of history at Clava Cairns and Culloden Battlefield, soak in the rugged Highlands, wander Inverness, and share plenty of behind the scenes moments that probably should not have been filmed but definitely were. We also do some Scottish taste testing, which is a polite way of saying we tried things without fully knowing what they were. This vlog is not a polished highlight reel. It is a light hearted, ridiculous, and very real look at traveling Scotland while mixing ancient history, outdoor adventure, red stag hunting, and the kind of moments that only happen when plans go sideways. If you like travel videos that do not take themselves too seriously, unexpected problems, historic places, and unscripted adventure, you are in the right place.
