Spring turkey season is in full swing, and Kyle Green sets out on a multi-state hunt through Michigan and Minnesota.
It starts in southern Michigan, where Kyle is up before dawn trying to intercept a mature Eastern Tom. Along the way, he captures some beautiful moments in the woods. Ducks gliding across flooded timber, Canada geese flying low over the trees, squirrels racing through the brush, and even whitetail deer slipping through the shadows. He films a few turkeys still on the roost, giving a rare look at these birds before they fly down.
But the hunt takes a turn when his property floods. So he heads to Minnesota, where his friend Cole has been scouting. The two team up for a few days of classic run-and-gun turkey hunting, driving back roads and asking for permission from local landowners. Some say yes. Some say no. And a few just make them laugh.
Eventually, all the miles and door-knocking pay off—Kyle tags a big gobbler, and the whole moment is captured on camera. Back at camp, Cole cooks up wild turkey poppers, turning the day’s success into a meal shared with friends.
