Join our team as we explore the cultural significance of wildlife, immerse ourselves in time-honored traditions passed down through generations, and connect with the people whose daily lives are shaped by them.
Each episode is a thrilling journey of exploration and adventure, where conservation and culture intertwine—told through the perspectives of locals from various walks of life. A boots-on-the-ground biologist dedicated to the conservation of local habitats. Owners of a family-run restaurant, bringing people together through the universal language of food. Ordinary individuals, preserving culture by blending inherited traditions with modern-day challenges.
Then follow our team back to the studio, where we take the lessons learned from our journey and transform them into an exciting new recipe!

This series ranges from cryptid legends to real life encounters with the wild.
Freshwater Shark Attacks! Could Bull Sharks Survive In The Great Lakes?
The movie Jaws was inspired by a string of shark attacks..some in FRESHWATER! In this eerie episode of Wilderness Chronicles, Kyle Green explores the shocking reality of sharks found in freshwater. From bull sharks traveling up the Mississippi River to strange reports out of the Great Lakes, we examine how far these predators can really go.
You’ll hear about bull sharks in Lake Nicaragua, the science behind their survival in rivers and lakes, and theories about whether they could adapt to colder waters. It’s a mix of strange history, biology, and firsthand accounts that might make you think twice before jumping in.
– Historical and recent sightings – Natural behavior and migration patterns of bull sharks – Environmental conditions that make freshwater survival possible – The Michigan mystery: could they be in the Great Lakes?
In this episode of The Green Way Outdoors Podcast, we break down proposed legislation that would allow for the sale of federal public lands. We talk about why this could be a major blow, not just to hunters and outdoor enthusiasts, but to wildlife conservation as well. Selling off public lands threatens critical animal habitat, disrupts migration patterns, and puts species at risk.
The team picked up the new 2025 Tracker Grizzly 1650 T Prairie Wings Edition Duck boat! We talk about features and using the boat this coming Duck season.
Then we kick off part one of our South Africa trip. We talk about the long flight, how we were treated as tourists, and what it was like navigating local stores to gather supplies. We filled SCI Blue Bags with candy, coloring books, toothbrushes, and children’s Bibles and delivered them to a school for kids aged 3 to 5. Their reaction was humbling and unforgettable.
The Green Way Outdoors VLOG takes you on our weekly adventures with us! We might be hunting, fishing, gathering, cooking, snowboarding, cliff diving, or even trying to build a blind for our duck boat. We created the VLOG so that we could interact with our audience year-round, and build the audience relationship with our whole team! This series is produced very differently than our History Channel TV show because we want you to feel like you are right there with us. Look for this new flavor of The Green Way Outdoors every Friday on our YouTube Channel!
In this episode, we hit the streets of Detroit to explore the city’s iconic sights and tough spirit—behind the wheel of a Ram truck. Then we launch into the legendary Detroit River for a walleye jigging session right in the shadow of the skyline. From Detroit’s streets to the river’s beats, we take you on a journey through the Motor City—on wheels and on water.
The majority of hunters are white men over the age of 55. As this demographic continues to age and slowly stop hunting over time, the newer generations aren’t stepping up to fill this void. This means less hunting and fishing licenses sold which means less money available to protect our natural resources.
We hope to change this downturn by making hunting and fishing more accessible through educational and entertaining content. Every episode of The Green Way Outdoors is about a specific tactic for a specific species. Through our hunting and fishing trips, we are able to take you from nature to the dinner table every episode.
The Green Way Outdoors is taking over the outdoor industry with an entirely new style of entertainment focused on bringing the outdoors to Millenials and Gen-Z.
